Introduction

YAADA (Yet Another ATOFMS Data Analyzer) is a software toolkit to analyze single particle mass spectral data including data collected with Aerosol Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (ATOFMS) instruments. These instruments measure the size and composition of single particles in the atmosphere. ATOFMS data have proven useful to study the sources and evolution of atmospheric aerosols in order to understand their effects on urban air quality and global climate.

YAADA is open source software for the Matlab programming environment; it is Copyright © California Institute of Technology 1999-2002 and Copyright © the Arizona Board of Reagents 2001-2005.

Version 2.00 Released (15 Oct 2005)

Versions 1.30 and 2.00 have the same end-user functionality, but work
under different versions of Matlab. Datasets created in v1.* are incompatible with v2.* databases because Matlab 7.0 does not support the format of IDs used in v1.*. Functions to convert v1.* databases to v2.* are included. Use v2.00 with Matlab 7.0 and later.

Version 1.30 Released (15 Oct 2005)

Data import functions now support TSI ATOFMS text data formats. Additional plotting formats including number concentration image, colored mass spectra, and aerosol composition. Included programs used to analyze for instrument busy time. Use v1.30 with Matlab versions 6.5 and earlier.
